SNAP-8 Overview

Mechanism of Action

Snap-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) inhibits SNARE complex formation required for neurotransmitter release at the neuromuscular junction. By reducing acetylcholine release, it attenuates muscle contraction in facial expression muscles, providing a topical ‘botox-like’ effect that reduces dynamic wrinkle depth without injectable neurotoxins.
